Laura C. Dunham, 45, of Poitiers, France, formerly of Columbia, died Friday, March 20, 1998, in Poitiers. Services were held March 22, in Poitiers. Ms. Dunham was born Jan. 8, 1953, in Joplin to Larry Dunham and Martha Whitacre.
She married Christian Gelin in France in 1982. She graduated from Hickman High School and attended Columbia College and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She graduated from the University of Iowa in Iowa City in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She owned Creation Graphique et Illustration in France. Survivors include a son, Simon Dunham Gelin of Poitiers; her mother, of St. Louis; and a brother, Paul Dunham of Everett, Wash. She was preceded in death by her father.
