Nancy Lee Racey, 45, of Kidder, formerly of Columbia, died Sunday, July 26, 1998, at Cameron Hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Kidder Cemetery. Arrangements are made under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
Mrs. Racey was born June 3, 1953, in Chicago to LeNora and William Lyle Fitzgerald. She married Steve Racey in 1980, and he survives.
She graduated from Hickman High School and attended the University of Missouri and William Woods College. She had been employed as a caregiver at Woodhaven Learning Center in Columbia, the Bureau for the Blind in Houston and later maintained a home for abused children for the Los Angeles Children’s Bureau.
Other survivors include her mother and stepfather, LeNora Klinfelter Boyle and George Boyle of Columbia; two brothers, William Mark Fitzgerald of Hallsville and James Lyle Fitzgerald of Winnetka, Calif.; and seven stepbrothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father and an infant brother.
