Ronald Dwayne Rutter, 52, of Bowling Green and formerly of Columbia, passed away Monday, April 24, 2006. Services were held Thursday, April 27. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery.
Ron Rutter was born Sept. 8, 1953, to Dwayne and Jean Rutter of Columbia. On Nov. 24, 1979, he married Gail Tinsley. They celebrated 26 years of marriage. In 1988, he became a licensed practical nurse. This profession became his life. He was a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club in St. Louis. His family was foremost in his thoughts. He was a great husband and father, and he loved telling hilarious jokes. He leaves behind many friends as well as family. He is a man that will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. Everyone who didn’t know him would’ve loved him. Family proceeding him in death includes his dearly loved grandparents, Frank and Fern Rutter of Columbia and Opal and Arnold Bink of Columbia. Survivors include his parents; his wife; one sister, Tina Stuart, and her husband, Bobby, of Fulton; one brother, Terry, and his wife, Cherie, of Columbia; and his children, Christina Rutter of Anchorage, Alaska, stepdaughter Tracy Miller of Columbia, Michael Rutter and his wife Sarah of Columbia, and Lyndse Rutter and Megan Rutter, both of Bowling Green; and four grandchildren. Memorial Funds are accepted at Perry State bank in Bowling Green.
