The cost of registering for the reunion is going up to $50 at 12 midnight on Monday morning, August 1. You can make your reservation until then for $45 per person. If you haven't already known about this, you can register online.

Strawberry Shortcake, Gooseberry Pie,
Are we it? Well, I guess yes!
We're the Kewpies of H-H-S!
Traditionally, Senior and Alumni versions of this cheer are immediately outcried following the school song during Assembly, first by the senior class, then by any alumni present, in a standing delivery. In these versions, "We're the Seniors" or "We're the Alumni" replaces "We're the Kewpies" in the last line.
Al Capp, a Jew from Bridgeport CT, created what became an American folk event: Sadie Hawkins Day. Hickman Kewpies celebrate this American tradition every October with the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Remember?
We believe Joyce is still in Columbia. We sent an invitation to a speculative mailing address on a hunch and a wish. It came back. You guessed it: "address unknown."
Are we going to accept that Joyce won't get an invitation if she's living in the heart of Kewpie Land? Come on. Dig into your black book and see if she's not in there somewhere. Share.
We thought she in Dallas. Then we heard she was in Denton. But then her mailed invitation was returned "addressee unknown." We want to make sure Justine gets her invitation. Help us sort it out: does she live on a golf course in Denton? or somewhere nearby with an airstrip for a driveway? Or does she have a helipad? or a herd of shetland ponies?

We thought he was on board and living in Centralia but then we got his invitation back in the mail: "address unknown."
Somehow, he has snuck off somewhere. Can you help us track him down?
I always remember Mark Shannon's name because I loved the 1971 third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, MIKE Shannon.
We thought Mark was safe at home in Jeff City...but no! His invitation was returned: "addressee unknown." Yikes! O.U.T. by a mile. Could you toss us a way to reach Mark?
FOUND: Mike was a wrestler in high school and it appears that he's pulled one of those patented escapes where he slips backward out of a head-lock. He's now living in the Phillipines.
We had an address for Mike in Columbia. That was wrong. A relative of Mike's said he was in Puerto Rico. That was wrong. A classmate claims Mike became a professional wrestler after retiring from the armed forces. Who knows?
As we can report is that Mike "Country" Cunningham, a wily wrestler and escape artist now resides in the Phillipines. Long may he rein!
